OGDEN- On July 4, 2011 Dana Leigh Anderson, 40, passed into the arms of our Father in Heaven. She passed in her sleep due to complications with a 20 year battle from diabetes. She was born to Ralph and Terry Edwards on November 8, 1970.

Dana attended and graduated Roy High School and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ogden, where she served as a Girl Scout leader and in the child care department for members and friends. She was employed at Horace Mann Elementary as a substitute teacher for many years and worked at Super Saver as a merchandiser with her dear friend Kari.

Dana was a wonderful person to everyone who knew. Dana loved to be around little children and they too, loved her. She was always the first to help anyone in need and was able to light up a room with her smile. She had a loving relationship with her parents, grandparents and siblings. She was an incredible mother and a perfect wife. Dana you meant the world to so many, especially your family. We will miss you dearly, until we meet again.

Surviving her is her best friend and husband, Tim, and her children and grandson, who were her pride and joy. One son, Cortney (Alexandra) Anderson, St. George; two daughters, Cami and Caliann, Ogden; and grandson, Kayden. Also surviving her are her parents, Ralph and Terry Edwards, brothers, Chad (Kari) Edwards and Jed (Russie) Edwards and two sisters, Shannon (Kevin) Hadley and Vincie Edwards, her grandparents, Hank and Boots Roberts and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her grandparents, Chester and Alice Edwards, Uncle John Edwards and Aunt Kathy Miller.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 880 28th Street.

Friends may meet with the family from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church.

Services entrusted to Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary.

Interment, Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 100 North Monroe.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dana Anderson Memorial fund at any Golden West Credit union to help with funeral expenses.
