Born in Toronto, Canada on May 1, 1914, he was raised in Cleveland, Ohio. A graduate of West High School and Cleveland State University (Fenn College). He married Ethel Karopchinsky on December 24, 1937. They were married 66 wonderful years, she went to Heaven in 2004. He is survived by two children, a daughter Gloria (Frank) Hardman and a son John (Carmen) Gallagher, Grand-Daughter Heather (Randy) Lisciarelli; Great Grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew and Amber Lisciarelli; Step Grandchildren, Crystal (Brian) Bracy & Family & Tommy King V and Boys.

He served in the Aerospace lndustry for many years with AeroJet General Corporation, in Azusa, Ca. He retired from the Ship Building industry in 1977 serving as Vice President of Overbeke Cain Company in Bedford, OH.

He was a WW ll Veteran in the United States Army, 84th Chemical Mortar Battalion, Company A
