NORTH DARTMOUTH -- Ann C. (Bosworth) Bettencourt, age 87, of North Dartmouth, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2006, at home following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late John J. Bettencourt and the daughter of the late Harold J. and Olivia M. (Mahood) Bosworth.
She was born in New Bedford, spent most of her youth in Dartmouth and was a graduate of Dartmouth High School, class of 1939. She lived in New Bedford before recently moving back to Dartmouth.
She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. She was employed by Isotronics for 23 years until her retirement. Mrs. Bettencourt loved traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter; two brothers; several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Nancy Ann Roberts, and the sister of the late William H. G. Bosworth and Rosella M. Yuille.
