DRIPPING SPRINGS - Vivian Iona Ford, 95, of Dripping Springs, passed away Monday, July 30, 2001.

Graveside service: 10 a.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. David Malone officiating and assisted by Paul Faulkner.

Memorials: Family requests donations to Christ Haven Children's Home in lieu of flowers.

Vivian was born on May 18, 1906 in Fort Worth, to John Bugg Martin and Tommy Reece Cristman Martin. She graduated valedictorian in her class from Paschal High School in 1924. She was baptized in 1946 by Guy Caskey. She was active, faithful member of West Berry Church of Christ and in later years Southside Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walton Thomas Shoemaker, and her husband of 40 years, Charles Foster Ford, and her sister Lorraine Roberson.

Survivors: Daughter, Dorothy Jean Dezelle of Austin; daughter and son-in-law, Gladys and Paul Faulkner of Driftwood; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Mount Olivet Funeral Home 2301 N. Sylvania Ave., (817) 831-0511
