Funeral services for Kristen Nicole Kimmons Woolsey, 33, of Thomasville will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at First Baptist Church. Rev. Dan Spencer and Rev. Dr. Milton C. Gardner will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jamie Nail, Jimmy Nail, Michael Alford, Josh Lewis and Thaxton Shelly.

Born February 26, 1978 in Rome, GA, she was the daughter of Ellen Chastain Haslam Van Alstine, who survives and the late Jerry Kimmons. Mrs. Woolsey was married to Stacey Woolsey, who survives. She was a member of First Baptist Church and worked for Savannah Moon.

Other survivors include her brothers, David Kimmons and Joey Van Alstine, both of Thomasville; father in law and mother in law, Kenny & Janet Woolsey; and sister in law and brother in law, Angie and Jeff French, her aunt Susan Haslam Brown and her uncle Jim Haslam; cousins C. B. (Scooter) and Kim Grubbs, Taelor Leigh Edmiston and Pryce Means and numerous other cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Martha Chastain "Duchess" Haslam Donovan.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 on Tuesday at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
