Doris was born November 25, 1932, in Saginaw, and was the daughter of the late Henry and Lillie (Holler) Boerner.
She graduated from North York High School in 1948 and worked for General Electric in York for 33 years before retiring in 1993.
In addition to her husband, Ronald, Doris is survived by her daughter, Debra Bush of Jefferson; her two grandchildren, Amanda Blum of York, and Jason Bush and his wife, Sarah of Bellevue, Wash.; her sister, Sandra Peterson and her husband, Andrew of Scarborough, Australia; and her brother, Henry Boerner and his wife, Lynn of Citrus Spring, Fla. Doris was preceded in death by her son, Joel Blum, and her sister, Esther Druck McLeod.
Her graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Saginaw Cemetery in Saginaw, East Manchester Twp. Officiating at her service will be The Rev. Dan Dellosso. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
