Mrs. Jesse J. Baker dies Saturday Night After Heart Attack

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday at the Dawson funeral home for Mrs. Jesse J. Baker, 50, who died suddenly of a heart attack at her home on South Sixth St Saturday evening. Rev. J. W. Plummer of the Evangelical United Brethran Church will officiate, with burial in South Lawn Cemetery {sic, a volunteer found her buried in the same cemetery as her parents and husband}. Fredia Mirise, a daughter of the late Clifford and Cora Mulford Mirise, was born Dec 29, 1901 at Coshocton, where she spent her entire life. She and Mr. Baker were married June 19, 1925.
Mrs. Baker was a member of the Evangelical United Brethran Church, and ladies auxiliary of Foreign Wars of the Eagles Lodge.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sisters, Mrs. William Phillips and Mrs. Logan Seward, both of this city, and Clinton of Canton. One child is deceased.
Friends will be received at the funeral home between 7 and 9pm today and until time for services. Members of the auxiliary of Foreign Wars will hold graveside services Tuesday afternoon.
