Mr. Allen was a native of Mountain Grove, Mo., and had been a resident of the Coast for 40 years. He was a retired Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked briefly for the FBI prior to military service. He was member of the Biloxi Elks Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Theresa M. Allen; his parents, Floyd and Grace Allen; and a sister, Betty Baird.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Allen of Biloxi; a son, Thomas Frederick Allen of Omaha, Neb.; a stepson, Michael King of Mary Esther, Fla.; two daughters, Sandra Jean Kent of Hancock, Mich., and Janice Marie Miller of Omaha, Neb.; two brothers, Clifford Allen and Paul Allen; three sisters, Marie Stoll, all of Nebraska City, Neb., Dorothy Westover of Santa Maria, Calif., and Orlane Breazile of Mesa, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.
