Clyde Marlow Bollman age 91 Of Charles City died Feb. 23, 2003 after a brief illness. A funeral service was held on Thursday Feb. 27 , 2003 at 11 AM at St. Mary's Catholic church in Strawberry Point Iowa. Clyde was born on March 30. 1911 to Ira S and Edna(Perkins) Bollman in LUana, Iowa.He graduated from Luana, High School . On June 26 1935 he married Lucille E Burchart in Postville. He lived the greater part of his life in rural Strawberry Point and retired from farming. Clyde enjoyed his family . reading, gardening, bird watching and woodworking. He is survived by his wife Lucille, two daughters Sharon (Jim)Kamosso of CHarles City, daughter Sandra(Roger)Burr of Strawberry Point . Two brothers. Everett and Dora Bollman of Luana, and Leo Bollman of Monona, a sister in law Gladys Bollman of Monona. two granddaughters Kelly(Scott)Sweet of Charles City, and Stacey(Derek)Wetterstrom of Medina Minn, one grandson Dru(Jill) Burr of Waterloo and five great grandchildren. He is precided in death by his parents , infant son Clyde, two brothers Donald and Avery. two sisters. Helen Price and Leatrice Sharp. Clyde was a gentle man and kind person.
