Funeral services were held Thursday at the Taylor Funeral Home, Atlantic, for Oliver Cart, 85, former resident of Villisca, who died July 3, 1950 at a nursing home in Council Bluffs.
A native of Illinois, he came to the vicinity north of Villisca in his young manhood and farmed there until he moved to Villisca in 1929. He lived later in Elliott and Atlantic.
He is survived by a son, Carl, Stanton, Iowa; daughters, Mrs. M. E. Bailey, Rolf, Iowa and Mrs. Lloyd Burgman, Atlantic; and one brother.
Burial in the Morton Mills Cemetery.
