Age 89, of East Weymouth, died at home Monday, June 27, 2011. She lived in East Weymouth for 60 years and grew up in Milton. Charlotte enjoyed working in the wardrobe department for various local theater groups including the Chateau DeVille Dinner Theatre. She was stationed in Washington D.C. while serving in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. Beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Furbush Jr., she was the devoted mother of James A. Furbush and Marie Irvine, sister of the late Mary Gowen, Rita Dowd and William Thatcher, loving grandmother of Alexandra, Kerri, Ryan, and Patrick Furbush.
