Maryon was a lifelong Erie resident. She retired from Halle's Department Store, where she had worked for many years. She had been a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading and playing cards.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Arkwright, who died in 1974; a daughter, Sally Bell Quinlisk; a son, William R. Bell (d. 1997); a sister, LaVerne Vollmer; and a granddaughter, Cathryn Quinlisk (d. 7/1975 age 19).
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Nancy Bell of Erie; three granddaughters, Karen Kinnard of Columbia, Tenn., Cindy Jones of Springhill, Tenn., Susan Isaac of Louisville, Ky; one grandson, Jerry Quinlisk of Franklin, Tenn.; and five great-grandchildren.
Private burial will be at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
