JOHN INMAN DIES AT AGE 91

John A Inman, 110 East Cape Rock Drive, died Thursday at Cape LaCroix Manor. He was 91 years old.

Mr. Inman was born Feb. 26, 1884 at Nashville, Tenn. On may 31, 1910, he married the former Miss Alvina Susan Bleckwendt. She preceded him in death in 1934. A resident of this city 75 years, moving from Nashville. Mr. Inman for 50 years was employed by the International Shoe Co., and held the position of foreman when he retired.


He was a member of Third Street United Methodist Church and Modern Woodmen of the World

Surviving, son John A. Inman Jr., Cape Girardeau, daughters, Mrs. Helen Dodds, Sarasota, Fla., and Mrs. Virginia Lohmeier, Cape Girardeau,; sister Mrs. Robert Regg, Madison, Tenn.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. (Preceded in death by son, Charles Wesley and daughter, Mary Inman Mansfield)

The body is at Ford and Sons Funeral Home here, where service will be held at 11 Saturday morning The Rev. Wayne Koehler, Pastor of Third Street United Methodist Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Memorial Park (Son of Adam and Mary Ann King Inman.)
