Mrs. Charles William Beatty, 83, formerly of Louisville, died Tuesday [1/29/1991] in Los Angeles. She was the former Margaret (Maggie) Fortney, a native of Central City, Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, a retired lunch room manager at Waggener High School and a member of Beargrass Christian Church. Survivors: a son, Ned Beatty of Los Angeles; a daughter, Mary Margaret Gwinner of Savannah, Georgia; a brother, Broadus B. Fortney; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday [2/02/1991], Pearson's, 149 Breckinridge Lane. Burial: Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation 6-9 p.m. Friday [2/01/2011].
