Bettye Berg age 84 of Jasper passed away at 4:00 A.M. Wednesday March 2, 2011 at the Northwood Good Samaritan Retirement Community. She was born July 14, 1926 in Indianapolis to; Edwin "Pike" and Cyrilla (Schuler) Pfau.
She married James R. Berg June 22, 1950 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.
Memberships include: St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Ann's Society.
Surviving: her husband of 60 years-Jim Berg of Jasper.
3 daughters-Shelley Otto of Jasper, Mrs. John (Lisa) Siebert of Jasper, and Melanie" Mem" Berg of Greenwood IN.
3 sons-Mike Berg of Island Lake IL., Mark Berg of Jasper, and Marty Berg of San Francisco CA.
1 sister-Mrs. Bill (Jane) Bradley of Boonville.
2 Grandsons, and 2 granddaughters
Preceded in death by 2 sisters-Carol Rohlman Feldmann, Peggy Stetter, 3 brothers-Robert, Harold"Sonny", and Ron Pfau.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-7:00 P.M. Sunday at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper. There will be a Rosary at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home by St. Joseph Parish and St. Ann's Society.
Funeral service will be held at 9:30 A.M. Monday March 7, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
