GERALD ANDRUS
ADRIAN - Gerald C Andrus died June 8 1987 in Emma L Bixby Hospital shortly after being admitted.
He was born Feb 20 1922 in Homer to Albert and Grace (Weiss) Andrus.
He graduated from Adrian High School in 1940 and served with the US Army during World War II.
He was a member of the William Stark Post Np 97 American Legion and the Adrian Moose Lodge.
Mr Andrus worked at Hurd Lock Co for more than 25 yrs and later at Inland Division, Tecumseh before retires in 1986.
He married Dorothy Eisch July 15 1950 and she survives.
Also surviving are a son Jerry Andrus of Adrian, a sister Mrs Joseph (Marilyn) Gebarowski of Tecumseh and two grandsons. A brother Buell Andrus, preceded him in death.
The funeral will be Friday at 1:30 pm at Everiss-Wagley funeral home with Rev Lawrence Cox officiating.
Burial will be in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park Adrian Mi
Members of the William C Stark Post Np 97 American Legion will serve as pall bearers and will conduct a graveside service.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 pm Wednesday.
