Asa E. Savage, 61, died Sunday morning at his home...Federal Avenue, after an illness of 2 1/2 years. Mr. Savage was an engineer for many years with the Consolidated Coal Company and later with the Robertson and Fame Laudries. He was born in Albee Township and in 1904 married Elizabeth McFarlin of Grindstone City. Mr. Savage leaves his wife, four daughters and five sons: Mrs. Oel R. McCormick and Mrs. Arnold Kietzman of Saginaw; Mrs. Edwin J. Hartl of Bridgeport; Verna Jean Savage, at home; Percy, Leonard, Kenneth and George Savage, of Saginaw; and Walter Savage at home. Mr. Savage was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Congregation...burial will be in Forest Lawn
