MR.Albert E. Deppe 69 of Jefferson City Mo. passed away June 16, 2011 at his home.

Al was born April 4, 1942 in Bay Mo. the son of August C. and Florence Marie Helmich Deppe. He was married on November 21, 1959 in Jefferson City to Barbara J. Hollandsworth.

A lifelong resident of the Jefferson City area, Al attended Jefferson City Public Schools.

He was self employed contractor with the United States Postal Service for over twenty five years.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Teasters local 833, and the United States Bowling Congress.

Albert was an avid bowler, who once bowled a perfect score of 300. He also enjoyed working in the yard.


Survivors include his wife of fifty one years, Barbara Deppe, one son, Allen E. Deppe of Moberly Mo. one sister, Elsie L. Clad of Centertown Mo. one grandson, Josh Crocker of Jefferson City Mo. and son in law, Paul Crocker of Joplin Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Randy Deppe and one daughter, Gayle Crocker.

Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary fro 5-7p.m. Monday June 20, 2011.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10a.m. Tuesday June 21, 2011 in the Freeman Chapel wit te Rev. Melissa Hatfield officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

Those desiring may make memorial contributions to American Cancer Society.
