TROY Frances L. Pulliam Scott Burks, 45, of Troy passed away peacefully at St. Mary's hospital surrounded by family and friends and entered eternal life on Wednesday, June 8, 2011. Frances (Fran) was born to Lloyd Pulliam and Jane Pulliam of Albany, N.Y. Fran is the devoted mother of Jamia Scott, and Jasia Burks; seven sisters, Rita Pulliam (Johnny BoBo) Troy, N.Y., Sheila Pulliam, Atlanta, Ga., June Pulliam, Atlanta, Ga., Mary Jane Tune, Albany, N.Y., Valerie Pulliam (James Lansang) East Greenbush, N.Y., Laura Pulliam, Denver, Colo., Tracey Boyd (Keith Boyd) Chicago, Ill.; aunts, Daisy Kershaw, Sheila Phillips, Eleanor Burnham; and Uncle Nathaniel Pulliam (Carlton). Fran is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Fran also had a very special bond with her doctor, Dr. Rufus Collea, Albany Medical Center Hospital, NYOH. Funeral services Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 3 Morton Ave., noon.
