Mrs. Mabel Noxon Howell, 79, widow of the Rev. John Allyene [Alleyne] Howell, died Friday [30 April] at 8 a.m. at 17 Columbia Ave. [Glens Falls] She was a member of the Church of the Messiah.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Robert Deming of Burlington, Vt.; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Conde of Sherrill and Mrs. Julia Hurley of Providence, R.I., and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Regan and Denny Funeral Home, 341 Glen St., today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Messiah. the Rev. Schuyler D. Jenkins, rector, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Samuel Arthur Davies. Interment will be in Ballston Cemetery, Ballston Spa.
