Andrew Robert Boisvert, known best as Andy, was born on February 10, 1966 the son of Robert Andrew Sr. and Joan (Johns) Boisvert in Denver, Colorado.
He was raised and educated in Denver graduating from Denver North High School in 1984. He married Julie Ann Hudson on August 30, 1986, the couple moved to Gillette in 1990 where together they raised 3 children: Kala, Eli and Aaron. Andy was great at the many things he did and only did the things he loved.
Having served 4 years in the Marine Corps, he was proud to be a Marine and a Police Officer, but he loved his family most. Andy enjoyed travel, after the first family vacation to Maui, Julie couldn't keep him from planning the next!
Andy will be missed by his mother Joan Johns Boisvert; Aunt, Jessie Johns Lally both of Denver; wife of 25 years (in August), Julie of Gillette; daughter, Kala Ann Boisvert of Denver; sons: Eli Curtis Boisvert and Aaron Andrew Boisvert both of Gillette; brother, Mark Boisvert and his wife Ginger of Gillette; sisters: Annette Boisvert Hall and her husband Bob of Arvada, CO; Evette Boisvert Shileny and her husband Don of Westminster, CO; twin brother Robert Andrew Boisvert Jr. and his wife Val of Aurora, CO nieces and nephew: Christine, Shannon, Marie, Angie, Matthew, Sara, Lisa and Emma; 3 great nieces; 4 great nephews.
aHe was preceded in death by his father Robert and his Uncle Ted .
Mass of Christian Burial for Andrew Boisvert will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 20011 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church with Father Cliff Jacobsen celebrating. Interment will be at a later date in the Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 3, at the Walker Funeral Home from 4-7 p.m. with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Sgt. Boisvert, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to benefit the Wounded Warrior program or the Andy Boisvert Scholarship Fund WYPOA P.O. Box 1923, Rock Springs, WY 82903.. Memorials and condolences can be sent in Andy's name in care of the Walker Funeral Home, 410 Medical Arts Court, Gillette, WY 82718.
