He was born Dec. 7, 1915 in Meyersdale RD 1, a son of the late Harvey and Ada (Kretchman) Hershberger. His survivors include his widow, Mrs. Anna Hershberger; one daughter, Linda, at home. There are these brothers and sisters: Mrs. O. L. Miller, Elkins, W. Va.; Raymond K. Meyersdale RD 1; Mrs. Pearl Stanton, Somerset; John R. , Grantsville, Md.; Milton C. , Meyersdale RD 4. Mr. Hershberger was a life long member of the St Paul's Wilhelm Church of Christ, a member of the Brotherhood and the church choir.
Friends will be received after 2 p/m/ today in the Price funeral home until Thursday 11:30 a.m. The remains will lie in state from 12 noon to 2 p.m.- the time of the service in St. Paul's church. The Rev. Paul L. Westcoat will officiate with the burial in the church cemetery
