Mary B. Goodwin
Mary B. Goodwin, 100, of 127 Railroad Ave., Buckhannon, died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002, at Bailey's Private Care in Buckhannon.
She was born Jan. 11, 1902, in Upshur County, a daughter of the late late Lloyd and Lucy Riggs Miller.
She married Coleman Goodwin, who preceded her in death on July 5, 1978.
Surviving are one daughter, Shirley Sands, Buckhannon; four sons, Gerald Goodwin, Baden, Pa., Jimmie Goodwin, Fair Oaks, Pa., Murle Gene Goodwin, Corapolis, Pa., and Kenneth Goodwin, Texas; one brother, Evid Miller, Hampton; 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Wanda Huff and Wilda Sutton; five brothers, Curtis Miller, Delbert Miller, Ray Miller, Roy Miller and William Miller; and one sister, Flo Miller.
Mrs. Goodwin was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith.
Friends will be received at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. John Bunner officiating. Interment will follow in Bailey Cemetery in Buckhannon
