Ruth Inez Davis, age 90, of Abilene, Texas, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2008, in Abilene, Texas. She is survived by her daughters, Merry Sue Stephens and husband Joseph Walter Stephens, III of Abilene, daughter-in-law-Linda Susan Davis, as well as grandchildren, Bradley Scott Stephens, Lisa Susanne Davis and Loni Elaine Davis, She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, her husband Burton Elijah Howard and son, Robert Franklin Davis.
Ruth was a dedicated mother, christian and educator. She taught in the Poteet School system and became Elementary Principal before her retirement.
