Is Dead At 87

John F. Beauchamp, 87, of rural Frazee, died at a Fargo hospital on Saturdy, Oct. 24, after a three-week illness.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the First Baptist Church in Detroit Lakes with Rev. Robert N. Swanson officiating. Burial was at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Rudy Ormen, Alton Stearns, Ed Myhre, George Nash, Peter Matson, and Henry Hoffman. West-Kjos-Welmer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Beauchamp was born at Mount Carmel, Ill., on Dec. 16, 1876. He married Eva Bragg on April 28, 1902, at Sullivan, Ill. He had farmed in the Frazee area until his retirement in 1952. His wife, six brothers, a sister and a grandchild preceded him in death.

Survivors include a son, Al of Argosville, N.D., a daughter, Mrs. John (Ruby) Benson of Auburn, Wash., 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. There is also a sister, Mrs. Ollie Brines of Yakima, Wash.
