Charlotte N. Barr

PERU-Charlotte N. (Huston) Barr, 76, of Peru, passed away, Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru.

She was born Dec. 6, 1934 in Havana, IL to John and Clara (Walker) Huston. She married Loran "Al" Barr on Jan. 3, 1952 in Wilmington. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Peru and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Al; three sons, Timothy Barr of LaSalle, Terry (Julie) Barr and Doug (Tina) Barr both of Peru; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, David (Bonnie) Huston of Wilmington, two sisters, Sue (Jim) Johnston of Wilmington and Sharon (Gary) Underwood of Stockton.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Vickie Sue Barr; her parents, two sisters, Johanna McGraw and Marilyn Murray and a half brother, Don Barnes.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Lung Association.

Arrangements were made by the Mueller Funeral Home in Peru.
