Winslow - Doris Mary Hissom, 77, of Monument Street, died Jan. 7, 2008 at her residence after a long illness. She was born in Stockholm, ME. Oct. 12, 1930 the only child of Peter and Ida Bowley.
Doris loved life and her hobbies were crocheting, Knitting and playing beano.
She was predeceased by her parents and her best companion, Joseph N.L. Godin.
She leaves behind her two best friends, Sylvio and Micheline Sylvain and several cousins.
Funeral services will be in Houlton at St. Mary's Catholic Church in the spring. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. (Gallant Funeral Home)
