Abraham S."Brom" Sprague b.Dutchess Co.,NY. d.12/11/1865 of Typhoid Fever aged 72. He was the s/o Abel Sprague Jr.and Phebe Woodward. Abraham & wife Nelly m.abt.1826 and had 9 children. The 1860 Census record shows Abraham Sprague,Town of Colchester,Del.Co.NY.farmer,an invalid and 64 years old.
Widowed in July 1865 Abraham is survived by his children,daughter Mrs.Hannah Pelton and sons,Peter,Cornelius,Ichabod and John Sprague.
