Born in Jefferson, Ga. on April 20, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Mira Barnett Craig.
Educated in the Jefferson schools, she was of the Baptist faith. She worked most of her life as a waitress at What a Burger and Charlotte Motor Speedway. Her hobbies included gardening and fishing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Wright, a son Timmy Grass, a grandson Sammy Monte Andre' Bringle, brothers Barrett, Hoyle, Lonnie, Bitty and Junior Craig, and sisters, Ollie Doster and Gladys Craig.
Survivors are former husband, Morris Grass, daughters, Robin M. Craig and Marcia "Chi-Chi" Hopkins, and son Johnny Grass (Lisa), brother, Gene Craig, sisters, Bernice Link, Clara Jane Leffew and Mary Donaldson, grandchildren, Christian Pittman and Joshua Grass, and one great-grandchild, Morgan Pittman.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 1 until 2 p.m. at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in Landis with service following at 2 p.m. also at the funeral home with Rev. Barry Kemp, Minister. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
