ACUNA—Funeral services for Martin Acuna, Sr., 54, of Bay City will be at 10 am Thursday at Holy Cross Catholic Church with the Rev. Casey Jarzombek officiating. Burial followed at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck.
A Rosary was to be at 7:30 pm Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Acuna died on Monday, October 4, 1999 at his home. He was born on February 2, 1945 in El Campo, TX to Manuel Acuna and Juanita Delgado Acuna.
He served as custodian of the Holy Cross Catholic Church for the past 34 years.
He is survived by; wife, Josephine Magnia Acuna of Bay City; daughters, Josephine Delgado and Linda Acuna both of Bay City; sons, Martin Acuna, Jr., Paul Anthony Acuna, Ricky Acuna, and Steve Acuna all of Bay City; sisters Paula Vega of Glen Flora, Adelpha Sanchez of Markham, Sulema Ramos of Garwood, and Mary Gonzales of El Campo; six brothers, Manuel Acuna and Albert Acuna of El Campo, Ralph Acuna and Benito Acuna of Danevang, Jess Acuna of Wichita Falls and Joe Acuna of Bay City; and by six grandchildren.
