Ole was one of five children born to Kjersti (later Christina) and Ole Clementsen Juveli, in rural Pine Island, Goodhue, MN. His parents dropped 'Juveli' sometime after 1865, for they named a tiny daughter with the last name of Juveli, and buried her at Lands Lutheran Cemetery in the area, citing it is the first burial of that cemetery. Also naming the parents.

Several US and MN Census citations has Ole Clementson, from 1870, living with his parents (presuming until their death), his single sister, Julia; and until marriage, also sister Anna and others; as well as a half brother Hellek. Hellek's mother was the first wife, of Ole's father. Hellek's mother, who died prior to 1859, was a sister to Gulbrand Thoresen Buind. G. T. Buin / Buind is mentioned in Olmsted County, MN in the 1850's and 1860's, sometimes along with Ole's Uncle Ole Hellekson Flaata.

Ole took over the farm from his parents, and thru the 1940 US Census, lived there with his sister, Julia, after the parents died.

The 1900 Census shows Ole, Julia, their parents, and their sister, Anna (Clementson) Myhre's children, Oscar (8) and Clara (6), both born in ND. Oscar's and Clara's mother had died just weeks before the Goodhue Census was taken, with Oscar and Clara residing with their grandparents at the Goodhue farm. They had one surviving brother at that time - Sidney, who died as a teenager of heart failure. We are unsure where Sidney was at the 1900 Census.

Ole is buried with other family members at Lake of the Woods County, MN.
