In 1940 he was united in marriage with Beulah Juanita Wallace. To this union 4 children were born, with 2 daughters passing as infants.
For years he worked the family dairy farm, then moved to Stockton and began Real Estate, until retirement.
About 1970 he and Beulah divorced and he married Barbara Swisher in Jun of 1971. She chose for him not to be with rest of his family in Burwood Cemetery, Escolon, San Joaquin, California, but to be scattered in the Mountains he loved.
