MRS. G. M. BLY
On Sunday, June 6th, occurred the death of Mrs. G. M. Bly, a former resident of Waupun, at her home in Crofton, Neb., after months of suffering. The account of her death in the Crofton paper says in part: "Mrs. Bly was one of the most highly respected ladies of the early settlers of this section, The business houses closed Tuesday afternoon during the funeral as a token of honor and respect.
The funeral was one of the largest ever held here, there being a procession of cars nearly two miles in length." Mrs. Bly spent her girlhood in the Waupun community.
