Born in Port Orange Fla., June 18, 1894 Mr Burns came to Charlevoix at the age of nine years.
During World War I he served with the U.S. Army Medical Corps.
Later he lived in Chicago where he was employed with a steel mill.
After returning to Charlevoix he was employed in local plants, later was a driver for Art Dry Cleaners and for many years was custodian of the First Congregational Church of which he was a member.
He has no known survivors.
