She was living in Norwood Manitoba when she signed her Officer's Declaration Paper as Nursing Sister Canadian Army Medical Corp on Mar 1 1918 in Winnipeg Manitoba. She arrived in Shorncliffe England on Sep 4 1918. She was posted to No 10, #9 No 11 and No 16 Canadian Hospitals in Shorncliffe, Rhyl, Brighton, and Orpington. On Aug 26 1919 she sailed from Liverpool aboard SS Celtic arriving in New York Sep 4 1919. She was struck off strength Sep 11 1919, stating she would return to Winnipeg.
