Garner - Furneral services for Augusta A. Bohn, 81, will be held at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church here at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. M. J. Klaus will officiate. Interment will be in Concord Township Cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the church from noon Tuesday to the time of the funeral. A short prayer service for immediate relatives will be held at the Bohn Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday Mrs. Bohn died at the home of her son, Carl, Saturday evening.
Augusta A. Boehnke, daughter of Carl and Amellia Bohnke, was born at Schlocholtz Krietfelde, Germany, Oct. 26, 1896. At the age of 7 she came with her parents to America and settled in the St. John's community northeast of Garner. June 10, 1897, she was married to Edward J. Bohn, at St John's Lutheran Church.
The family lived for a time on a farm near Ventura from which they retired to Garner 46 years ago. For the past six and a half years Mrs. Bohn has been making her home with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Carl W. Bohn.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Otto (Alvinia,) Hollatz, Kansas City, Mo.; two sons, Rudy and Carl both of Garner; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Bohn, Ventura, and Mrs William Pueggel, Clear Lake; one brother, Ferdinand Boehnke, Ventura; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Her husband, four brothers, Emil, Gustav, Carl and Julius Boehnke, and one sister preceded her in death.
