Funeral of N. Hughes
The funeral of Norbert N. Hughes was held Thursday morning, June 12, at St. Joseph's church in Amery, Wis., at 9 o'clock, Rev. Cimevline officiating. The body was brought to this city and taken to the Simonet chapel and later to St. Michael's cemetery where interment was made.
The pallbearers were Joseph Frawley, Fabian Frawley, Joseph McGee, William McGee, Willard Drechsler, John Frawley, all of this city.
He was accidentally drowned at Amery, Wis., Monday, June 9, while fishing. He was a son of Mr. & Mrs. Albert Hughes, formerly of Houlton and this city and a grandson of Nelson Hughes.
