Born Sept. 12, 1899, in the Azores, he was a retired dairyman and a 50-year member of the UPEC Lodge.
Survivors include a son; Adrian, and a daughter, Jeanne Dudgeon, both of Orland; five brothers; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Michael Dermody, pastor, officiated. A rosary was recited at 7:30 P.M. Friday in the church. Burial was held in the Orland Catholic Cemetery.
Arrangements were in charge of F. D. Sweet & Son Mortuary.
