Obituary:

Frank W. Albright, 88, of Bronson, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2011 at his home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, April 11, 2011 at St. Mary of Assumption Church in Bronson with Rev. Fr. Richard Fritz officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Bronson. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2011 from 4-8:00 P.M. at Dutcher-Kolcz Funeral Home in Bronson with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M.
Frank was born on July 15, 1922 to John and Barbara (Knapp) Albright in Bethel Township, Michigan. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was stationed in the Pacific Theater and was awarded the Bronze Star. He married Marie M. Kuraszewski on October 8, 1949 in Hamtramck, MI. She preceded him in death on August 2, 2003.
Mr. Albright lived in Bronson his entire life where he operated the family dairy farm right up until his death. He had also been a bricklayer for Bracy & Jahr for 35 years, retiring in the mid 1980s. He was a member of St. Mary of Assumption Church, the Knights of Columbus, American Legion in Bronson, Michigan Farm Bureau, UCT and the Bricklayers Union in Battle Creek. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, watching the Detroit Tigers and most importantly, spending time with his family.
Frank is survived by his sons Stan (Diana) Albright and Steve Albright of Coldwater, his daughter Ann Albright of Fountain Hills, AZ, his grandchildren Tracy (Todd Wolfinger)Sims of Butler, IN, Stahycee (Rick) Smith and Casey (Cortney) Rice of Coldwater, his great grandchildren James, Kyle, Katie Price, Tahylin Porath, Brayton Smith, Riley and Kolton Rice.
In addition to his wife, Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Henry and Matthew Albright, his sisters Bernice Sikorski, Genevieve Rzepka and Gladys Ratkowski.
