suffered from consumption and died in 1881 when Frank was 17 years of age. Frank became a trapper and furrier in the winter. He would pick up furs from local
trappers as well as his own and sell them to Kaks Fur Co. of Boston. He once caught a bobcat. During the summers he was a painter and paperhanger.
They moved around frequently as evidenced by the various birthplaces of his children. For a while, they lived at 8 Bates Street, Mendon, in 1884. owned by the Leone family. Later they moved to Milford. About 1910 he moved to Ashland Mass where they lived on Granite Street.
Frank was about 6'0" in height and about 160 Ibs. in weight. He had a mustache, enjoyed smoking a pipe and chewing tobacco, and enjoyed playing checkers,
He was an excellent horseshoe player known for miles around. He was a member of the Ku Klux Klan, apparently in a passive way. He enjoyed black cats, reading
newspapers, and swore by the Old Farmers Alma
Frank died on 11 March 1942 in Ashland, Mass. They were both buried in WildwoodCemetary, Ashland. Was told by family members one time there was a big fire at the Lombard Governor factory and road horse back up and down Granite St watching for fire on the houses that could have started from sparks from the fire
