Lillie, the daughter of John Thadeaus Browning and Margaret Ann Keegan, came to New Mexico with her family in a covered wagon in 1916.
On 14 Aug 1924, Lillie married Robert Stanley Boyd in Fort Sumner, De Baca County, New Mexico. Lillie and Robert had the following children: Robert Stanley (Jr.), Donald Ernest, Zelma Dean, Roy Allen, and Benjamin.
She moved to Clovis from Taiban in May 1949. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Lillie died at age 86 in the Clovis High Plains Hospital.
Lillie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.
The obituary lists the following survivors: four sons, Rober and Donald, both of Clovis, Roy, El Paso, Texas, and Ben, Boise, Idaho; one daughter, Zelma Self, Clovis; one sister, Rena Kidd, Spokan, Wash.; 15 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
