Dave was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the only child of Reverend David E. and Betty Lou (Bullock) Archie. During his childhood years, David lived in Minneapolis, Beloit and Madison. On September 19, 1981 he and Regina M. Roche were married in Chicago. He was a 1980 graduate of Edgewood College, Madison and received a Master of Divinity Degree from the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago. He was an active member of his church, a 3rd Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus – Council #4585 and a member of the Knights of Divine Mercy. Dave was currently employed by Ryan and Joyce-Ryan Funeral Homes working through Trust 100 as a preneed counselor and assisted families with prearrangements. David was a loving, caring and devoted father to David and Maria since the death of their mother. He would always put their needs ahead of his own. Dave is survived by his son; David Ryan Archie, his daughter; Maria Louise Archie, his mother; Betty Lou and her husband, Wallace L. Pearson and as well as the extended family circle of the Pearson and Roche families. He was preceded in death by his wife, Regina in 1991, his father; Reverend David E. Archie in 1970, a very close aunt; Mary Jean Seefeldt, very close uncle; Robert A. Bullock, his maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.
