Mr. Bryan served in the Army for 20 years.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Smyrna Baptist church by the Revs. Maurice Gilliam and Eddie Burroughs. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Betty M. Bryan of the home; daughter, Pamela Faye B. Matheney of Lavergne, TN; brother, Julian Bryan of Bladenboro; 4 sisters, Mary West of Broadway, Minnie Ruth Simpson of Roseboro, Mattie Oliver of Garland and Marjorie Melvin of Chadbourn; 2 grandchildren.
