Marie Lewis Ashton, 83, of Lottsburg, died August 16, 1998 in a Tappahannock Hospital. She was the widow of Revell Andrew Ashton and a member of Melrose United Methodist Church, Lottsburg.
Surviving are two daughters, Mabel A. Wilson, Lottsburg, and Ella A. Smith, Warsaw; a son, Louis Revell Ashton, Lottsburg; two grandchildren, LuAnn S. Bryant, Warsaw and Steve Ashton, Farnham, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held August 18, at Jones-Ash Funeral Home, Rainswood, with Rev. James W. Dunn and Rev. Curtis H. Hawks officiating. Interment was in Northern Neck Memorial Gardens, Callao.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Walker, Donald Taylor, Madison Bromley, H.M. Webb, Louis Basye and Calvin Keyser.
