Krest, Jean Fiske (Pool Burg), 93, passed away on September 12, 2011, at Holly Creek Retirement Community.Jean was born on June 8, 1918 in Townsend, Montana. She was a graduate of the Colorado State Teachers College. Upon graduation, she taught grades 1 through 8 at a one room schoolhouse in Conifer Colorado.She was married to and widowed by Martin Burg. She is survived by their sons John and Carl, daughter Eleanor Lillie, and grandchildren Shannon, Lee, Bahar, and Martin.She later married Ted Krest who also predeceased her. She is survived by step children David Krest, T. J. Krest, Steve Krest, stepdaughter Sue Kelley, and grandchildren Ashley, Amanda, Michelle, Mark, Kimberly, and Paige. She always had a positive outlook on life no matter what the circumstances were. She had a witty and quirky sense of humor. She will be remembered for her effervescent personality and her love of bright colors. She cared very deeply for her family and friends. She also enjoyed arts and crafts and was very creative
