Mrs. Melva Billie Brown Scruggs, 73, of Bloomingdale, died May 17 at home.
The Montgomery County native lived in this area most of her life. She was a member of Rothwell Baptist Church and the Friendship Club.
SURVIVORS: three sons, Mark, Randy and Ronnie Scruggs, all of Bloomingdale; two sisters, Vashti Jett of Orange Springs, Fla., and Mamie Johnson of Palm Beach, Fla.; three brothers, Bernon D. Brown of Alamo, Jasper N. Brown Jr. of Claxton and Willis A. Brown of Midway; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. today at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel, Pooler.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Saturday at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel, Pooler, burial in Westside Memorial Gardens in Bloomingdale.
