Services Tuesday for Mrs. Bartels

Services for Mrs. Charles Bartels, 77, of Cecil will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Hope Lutheran Church at Cecil with Rev. E.H. Wiana in charge.

She was the former Margaretha Hartman, born in Germany February 1, 1881, and came to America as a child. She was married to Charles Bartels at Shawano in 1903. They resided in Cecil since their marriage, her husband operating a garage there for many years.

Survivors include her husband, four daughters, Olga, Mrs. Henry Radtke, Appleton; Elda, Mrs. Fred Muck, Angelica; Irma Bartels of Los Angeles, Calif.; Ione, Mrs. E.H. Collins of Milwaukee, and two sons, Roland of Shawano, and Marvin of Manitowoc.

Two sisters and four brothers also survive. They are Ida, Mrs. Erdman Kriefall and Elisabeth, Mrs. Herman Marohl of Cecil. Brothers are Walter, Oscar, Adolph and Otto Hartman.

The body is at the Bocher Funeral Home at Cecil and can be viewed from Sunday noon until 11 a.m.Tuesday, and then at the church until the time of rites. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery at Cecil.
