Margaret Belle (Reimann) Brown, 96, a longtime Bozeman resident, passed away from this life of natural causes on Mar 16, 2011. She was born to the late Cora (Holman) and Ernest Reimann on Jan 17, 1915, in Sidney.
Margaret was raised on the family farm in Lambert, along with her brother George. She met her future husband, Dewey Brown, there, and together they had two children, Vivian and Delley.
After a few years, the family relocated to Bozeman, where Margaret taught school for 23 years. She was principal of LaMotte School when she resigned to hold the office of superintendant of schools for the Gallatin County School District. She held this post until she retired from office.
Margaret received her B.A. from Walla Walla College and a master's degree from Montana State University.
She leaves behind her daughter, Vivian (Darwin) Bosteder of Seattle, WA; and grandchildren: Belinda Steyer; Dalen, Terrance and Darren Bosteder; Ernie Brown; Vickie Cahoon; and Donna Doak.
Margaret was also a great- and great-great grandmother to many.
