LAMPASAS - Jan. 27. -- Miss Ouida Young and Charles F. Adams of Topeka, Kan., ere married in Holton, Kan., Jan. 15. The double ring ceremony was read by the Rev. Grant Hamm.
Mrs. Adams is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe J. Young of Lampasas. She is a graduate of Lampasas high school and had been employed at the Southwestern bell Telephone company for several years prior to her marriage. Adams is a son of Reuben Adams of Holton, Kan., and was recently discharged from the service after serving fur years in the armed forces, two years of that time in the Pacific theater.

Elsie Ouida Adams, 91, of Marble Falls passed away on March 6. She was born in Lampasas County on Nov. 17, 1919, the daughter of Joe and Cora Simmler Young.
She is survived by her daughter, Dixie Moore of Marble Falls; son, Joe Adams of Marble Falls, daughter and son-in-law Karen and Nolan Davis of Granite Shoals; daughter, Judy Cravens of Marble Falls; six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; sister in law, Reva Kinsey of Marble Falls, and other relatives and close friends.
Interment will be at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
