DEATH OF CELESTINE ANTOINE - On Saturday night at 11:30 o'clock occurred the death of Celestine Antoine a highly respected resident of this community. He attained an age of 67 years. His death came very unexpectedly. At about 3:30 in the afternoon he suffered a stroke of paralysis caused by the weakening of his heart. He lingered until 11:30 when he passed away. His entire family was at the bedside when the end came. He is survived by a widow and 11 children, 5 boys and 6 daughters as follows: Frank, John, Adolph, Leo and Alfred, Mrs. Henry Schnkgen, Mrs. Frank Pauly, Mrs. Andrew Burmesch, Mrs. Geo. Krier, Mrs. Edward Hamm, and Miss Frances Antoine. The funeral took place yesterday (Wednesday) services being conducted at St. Mary's church, Rev. Gersbach officiating, and interment was made at that cemetery. Heartfelt sympathy is extended to the surviving relatives. (June 14, 1917)
